Collaboration with Brewmaster in Dundalk Ireland

This transatlantic collaboration started in January 2021 with a Dundalk-inspired idea and has continued to today with Dundalk Bay brewery in Ireland. This traditional Irish Red is made with ingredients and malts imported from Dundalk, Ireland! This will be the second beer produced in this international series.

Story:
Henry McShane emigrated to the United States in 1847. He founded McShane bell foundry in an unnamed section of Baltimore. In order for the train to stop and deliver the material, he needed to build his bells he had to have a name for the train stop. Out of ideas and in need of raw material he called the train stop Dundalk.

Collaboration:
This collaboration started in January 2021 and has continued to this day. It is going to be a Trinity collaboration consisting of a NEIPA recipe that Dundalk Bay already brewed in Ireland. It is now being sold across all of Europe.
The second portion of the trinity is this Irish Red being brewed here in the United States.
The third section of the trinity will have parts A & B which will involve traveling to Ireland and the United States to brew the same recipe in both locations.

Beer:
This brew is designed by the Dundalk Bay Brewery & Distilling in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.
It is a traditional Irish Red recipe using malt from Loughran Family Malt Company also of Dundalk, Ireland.
Irish Reds are slightly malty with soft toffee/caramel sweetness, a grainy-biscuit palate, and a touch of roasted dryness in the finish.
It will be medium amber to medium reddish-copper color.
